Poster Presentation Awards

Poster Presentation Competition Guidelines

The Poster Presentation Competition aims to encourage researchers and students to improve their scientific communication skills and exchange research progress through poster presentations. AMSDG 2026 will organize a review committee consisting of invited experts to evaluate and recognize outstanding poster presentations.

1. Registration Information

To participate in the Poster Presentation Competition, applicants must:

  • Submit an abstract through the AMSDG 2026 website before the abstract submission deadline.
  • Select “Poster Presentation” during abstract submission and registration.
  • Complete conference registration and payment before the registration deadline.
  • Display the poster during the designated poster session at AMSDG 2026.

2. Evaluation Criteria

Participants must present their posters and answer questions from the review committee during the poster session. The evaluation criteria are as follows:

  • Research Originality – 30%
  • Research Content – 30%
  • Q&A Performance – 30%
  • Poster Design – 10%

The review committee will evaluate all poster presentations and determine the final list of award recipients. If two presentations receive the same total score, the presentation with the higher originality score will be prioritized.

3. Poster Session Information

  • Poster Session: Thursday, June 25, 2026, 16:40–17:50
  • All posters must be prepared in English.
  • Posters should be displayed at the assigned poster boards before the session begins.
  • At least one author must be present during the designated poster session period.
  • All posters must be printed in portrait format with a maximum size of 60 cm (width) × 85 cm (height). The conference will provide the posting tools.

4. Award Prizes

The Poster Presentation Competition will be divided into five groups according to the symposium topics:

  • Group 1: Plasma and Thin Film Technologies
  • Group 2: AM for Energy
  • Group 3: AM for Sustainability
  • Group 4: AM for Electronics & Photonics
  • Group 5: AM for Bio-Applications

Each group will present the following awards:

  • 1 Gold Award (NTD 3,000)
  • 1 Silver Award (NTD 2,000)
  • 1 Bronze Award (NTD 1,000)
  • Additional Honorable Mention Awards will be presented according to the number and quality of presentations in each group. Recipients of Honorable Mention Awards will receive a Certificate of Achievement only.

The award recipients will be announced during the Closing Ceremony of AMSDG 2026.
